..that sticking a 507bhp V10 in a 5 series makes for a quick motor.
I had a play with a new M5 today (private race track) and once they get going they don't half shift. He pulled a car length or so on the longer runs that we had and I just didn't have the revs or power to do much about it. On the shorter blats there wasn't anything in it but on longer straights he could just rev to the 8.25k red line and use all 507bhp.

Awsome car but quite chuffed the chim gave a good account of itself :)

That's a lot of German horses,even though it's prbably quite heavy.Does it sound nice? (If you could hear it above your Chim)

Always liked the E39 M5,best saloon BMW imho, the new shape 535d is pretty quick,too.
