Hi All
Hope everyone had a good Friday night - sounds like mungo certainly did.
(You should have been where I was mate - two of the sexiest girls (tall, slim, nicely dressed, great legs, you get the picture 
) I've seen in a while, and both intelligent too! 
)
Anyway, on to the point of this post. I just wanted to know if anyone considers my TVR experience thus far a little unlucky. Timeline:
March 2002 - 8 months out of uni, buy my dream car (see profile). Am ecstatic, feel like the luckiest person alive.
March 2002 - Scrote severely scratches the drivers door when I leave it in a car park. Feel like crying.
April 2002 - Scrote in RS Turbo hits debris in the road at about 90mph and kicks in into the front of the car. Front is a mess and now looks like it's done 100,000 miles. Feel like skinning the driver and council and rolling them in a bucket of salt.
November 2002 (about 2 hours ago) - Stationary in road waiting to turn right, screech of brakes, bloke behind me bins it into the back of me. Despair.
So, that's three sides of the car that have been f@cked-up now.
Sorry for moaning, but feel better for getting this out of my system.

The thing that really annoys me is that the front end damage (>£1,000) and damage to the door (few hundred) comes out of my pocket. I don't really mind about the rear end damage as I can claim on his insurance for that. Just feel a bit p!ssed off at the moment - hate it when anything bad happens to my baby!

Ha, true. A mate of mine has just said the same thing - he'd rather have a damaged TVR than his Fiesta!
What would you rather drive? Knocked about TVR or perfect nick Peugeot...........(I know, perfect nick TVR).

Cheers mate. Cars get like family after a while for people like us don't they? Come to think of it, I can think of several family members I would have preferred to have been hit by that Astra so forget that comment!
Just read this mate - Sorry to hear of it. Someone once rear ended my old wedge and I was unbelievably upset!
