Yep totally aware of all of those and they are read. The particular beastie in question is a bit like rocking horse do do hence I thought a quick post would'nt go amis. They tend to be sold vis word of mouth before they get to ads.

A bit of a tall order here i think,but im sure if you try hard enough you will come across one.The prices of good series ones a risen coniderably over the past few years with one being auctioned recently in mint condition for about £12,500.I myself own a factory mint 1942 ford jeep with all the ford stamps, the prices of these have also gone through the roof to the point where four months ago i was offered by an american collector £30,000 for mine. Try the owners / off road clubs. Also, as a long shot, there is a guy called Keith Gott based near Alton Hants who is into all things L/R.
