O/T: Girls with Platonic Male friends ?? Discuss..
Discussion
Just thought I'd drag this one up again since getting a link in my inbox this morning
Sally: We are just going to be friends, OK?
Harry: Great, friends. It's the best thing...You realize, of course, that we can never be friends.
Sally: Why not?
Harry: What I'm saying is - and this is not a come-on in any way, shape, or form - is that men and women can't be friends, because the sex part always gets in the way.
Sally: That's not true. I have a number of men friends and there is no sex involved.
Harry: No, you don't.
Sally: Yes, I do.
Harry: No, you don't.
Sally: Yes, I do.
Harry: You only think you do.
Sally: You're saying I'm having sex with these men without my knowledge?
Harry: No, what I'm saying is they all want to have sex with you.
Sally: They do not.
Harry: Do too.
Sally: They do not.
Harry: Do too.
Sally: How do you know?
Harry: Because no man can be friends with a woman that he finds attractive. He always wants to have sex with her.
Sally: So you're saying that a man can be friends with a woman he finds unattractive.
Harry: No, you pretty much want to nail them, too.
Sally: What if they don't want to have sex with you?
Harry: Doesn't matter, because the sex thing is already out there, so the friendship is ultimately doomed, and that is the end of the story.

I love this point, very true!
Another thing to watch out for is the code words women use. Here is a translation guide for dealing with women.
Says: I want a man who is motivated and has goals.
Means: I want a rich man
Says: I want a man who knows how to treat a woman.
Means: I want a rich man
Says: He's from a really good family.
Means: He's from a really rich family.
Mat, You're meant to ignore her, it says so in the ladder theory

It's no wonder you won that award at BTaP!!! Do you actually do any work at all? I'll bet you sit at the computer, waiting, looking, for exciting topics to appear on PH, or you make them up yourself...
Shame I've got to rely on 10% novelty value
Is that the " If you are very attractive, and novel and show no interest in her she is almost guaranteed to want to
you " bit then Ben.. ?
..
No with me and Riv it's this bit:
"Tom met Jane. Tom was immediately placed on the friends ladder"

I think you can be platonic friends with girls when they are either:
a your partner's mates
b your mates' partners
c work colleagues
d clients
You only be "just friends" with a girl if you are:
a a girl
b gay
Otherwise what Harry says is completely true.
Now, where's Carzee with those old URLs he's recycling?

It wasn't meant as a come on matey

So the short answer to your question is NO
The best way to never score with a woman is to show too much interest in her.
I wonder what Mungo's ladder looks like, a hoard of barely sentient beings fighting their way up to grab the bottom rung I imagine

You mean you've never shagged/wanted to shag any/all of the above group? Come on, tell the truth.
