Ooooo! Now that's the same as they got in the states with a stationary wall. Hope it was at a distance and not standing next to the car. Might explain how the wife was done for 40 when her average speed over the distance between 2 frames of the video was 30 or 31.

Must set the video to get the repeat at 4am or whenever it is.

As an 'operative'
gamely points an unsupported speed gun in your direction,

his nervous trembling, causes the beam on your bonnet,
to travel either nearer the front, or windscreen end,
known as the slip effect,
and machine displays a non existent speed figure on this stationary car.

It doesn't take to much imagination to work out the effect on a moving car.

Not sure if this does more harm than good though. The program deals with 'weaseling out' of prosecutions on technicalities which, to the naive masses, only serves to make the evil speeders look more guilty.

What we really need is some prime time given over to exposing the corrupt statistics and the realities of what causes accidents. We have to give the public at large the real information, free from government spin - the information that we read in the PH news each week.

If the general public had the cold hard facts in front of them the government would have no choice but to drastically review it's policies to focus on the real causes of death and injury on the roads. Sadly though, I think we're at least a year away from it being 'fashionable' enough to be presented to the mainstream public.
