Having seen the Maybach 'in action' last night c/o Jezz C, I am convinced that Merc have finally wrestled the crown from Crewe, or indeed Munchen, much as it pains me to acknowledge.

This road going liner of a car is an engineering masterpiece and I look forawrd with great anticipation to the restoration of a non-batty government which will allow the restoration of such profligate excess amongst the baubles in the palaces of the mighty.

Almost makes you wish you were German! Shocking.

I have to disagree. The thing is a monstrosity. It looks like an 1920's wardrobe on wheels.

It's a great means of transport for those in the back, but it will sell purely because of the fact that it's the most expensive luxo-barge on offer. Give me a Bentley any day.

Hmmm , im sure it is a technical masterpiece but looks wise it reminds me of a Hyundai on steroids , Crewe has it beat on sheer road presence shirly

Almost. They were 20-odd feet long.

Class.

But I was right, Pullman is a brand of train. Here's a photo of a luxury Pullman:

surely if you had the money for a maybach you'd have a nice private jet or helicopter for long journeys instead!

Bet the Maybach couldn't pull doughnuts like the Bentley did! Brilliant sight.
Another extension on the lottery garage please Bob!
I'm going to have to win a double roll-over at this rate! :sigh:

Got to agree with DeR on this one, better than a Rolls. I suppose money doesn't come into the equation with the people who buy these cars, otherwise they would stick with an S-class.

However for the same money you could have an S-class merc AND a Bentley Azure. Even if I had Bill Gates wealth I don't think I'd bother with the Maybach.

Did like the Bently more, and loved the way Jezza harped on about how much he loved it. The maybach may be bigger, more luxurious and better built, but the Bentley has class (and can pull donuts ).
