I try and get the roof off whenever I can, I think a bright sunny ( but freezing ) morning, wrapped up with a hat on, having a blast is great, also seems to make people happy in the cars around as well ( although this might just be laughter at how stupid I am ).

Any one else get the roof off even when its cold ?

Had the roof down yesterday

Wrapped up warm and put the hardtop on yesterday when we'd finished for the day

Had the roof down on Saturday. And the heater on. And the heated seats

Hell yes.
But mainly because the heater in the Tiv is so crap I can't keep the screen clear with the roof up.
In fact, I've been out for a blast two of the last three evenings - something about the combination of crisp night air, starry skies and slippery roads that makes me want to take the roof off and play!

went out in the VXT yesterday with no roof and this hopeless thing humourously called a heater. some bright spark even put a graphic on the fascia that indicated that if you turned it to the right - you'd get heat?! funny sense of homour. not.

we drove down to haslemere were we parked up at devils punchbowl and a kind set of women lent into the car to warm us up. enough that we unfroze and regained the ability to move again, enough to put the roof on, and drive home.

everything is true apart from the women bit.

It'll have to be torrential rain before my roof goes on. In fact, I've just ordered one of Ted's fleece hats!!

Oh , never put the roof on unless it's pouring with rain. In the snow at night with the roof off is excellent

I did on Saturday, about 5 degrees, roof down, wind deflector up, ski jacket and was toasty warm!

Hard top might go on this weekend though .. the car's not garaged, and I'm a bit worried about the long term effects of the frost on the fabric. The only time I drive during the day is at the weekends. But then I lose the imprompu opportunities to drive on these nice wintry days. Decisions, decisions...

Roof down all day today. No other option unless my little lad is in the car.

Hardtop is on the Merc for winter, can't really keep moving it on and off as it is really a two man job.

Atom on the other hand roof is literally not an option.

Took the Tiger out yesterday morning. 'tws a little on the cold side Biggest problem was having to stop every few minutes, in the freezing fog, as the windscreen kept getting iced up:

Optimistically took the roof off at 6am yesterday, didnt even make it out of the drive before chickening out.

Good thing too, when I got to my destination there were a load of icicles on the front of the car from the windchill...

Of course, waited long enough for a rag top I'm making the best use of it. I think total drives with the roof up is between still <10 (and only cos it was really raining properly)
