Saw it last night. Very good film and very Bond. Also lots of loverly motors to drool over. Much better than that Diesel Van rubbish. Oh, Halle Berry's in it too

I do hope I like this latest one: fingers crossed.

But I'm no Brosnan fan (Lewis Collins would've been vastly preferrable [humour, masterful sartorial inelegance and a superb, focussed, albeit corny sneer]) and I've found the recent films lacking in any vaguely quirky charm compared to most of the predecessors.

Modern Bond will obviously require a large degree of formulaic structure but maybe the fact that the original franchises were based on proper novels (i.e. stories of some merit!) is were the quality stopped?

Still, I hope I'm won round!

Going to see it tonight.
Wife is a big Bond fan - and a bigger Pierce Brosnan fan. Bloody woman openly drools whenever she sees him, I get that evil stare if I do similar to the like of Halle, is that fair?
