does anyone remember a sitcom in the early to mid nieties with two guys in it who lived in a flat in london, one guy was tall, had light hair and the other guy was shorter and had dark curly hair....not a lot to go on I admit but it must ring some bells with someone. It was on BBC2 around 9pm.....and it wasnt Men Behaving Badly but had a similar comedy angle, anyone?

You're not thinking of Bottom are you, with Ade Edmonson and Rik Mayall?

Probably not as the tall bloke (Edmonson) was bald...

Argh, I know the one you mean, one of them was paranoid about hairloss or something, or maybe it was getting wrinkles . . .

Now you've got that one, am I the only person still alive that remembers a series called "Turtles Progress"
where they opend a different stolen safety deposit box each week and acted on the contents?
Everyone at work thinks I'm suffering delusions.

From www.tv.cream.org (great site for this sort of thing, BTW):

TURTLE'S PROGRESS (1979)
ATV

SHORT-ARSED snivelling baldie Turtle (JOHN LANDRY) is the brains of a petty crime partnership, the other half being, huge, thuggish, Crombie-clad skinhead Razor Eddie (MICHAEL ATTWELL). One night they nick a Ford Transit, only to find (next day) that it is loaded with the booty from a daring deposit box robbery at a bank. Needless to say, the bankrobbers are neatly rounded up open-mouthed and bewildered as the police arrive; their getaway vehicle having vanished into thin air. Of course there are no links to Turtle and Eddie who are left in peaceful ignorance, and each episode was based on them opening a deposit box and an adventure sprang from the contents. Their deeds might have been Quixotic, but by now unmemorable.

I remember something called "Sink or Swim" with two brothers in it. One was straight laced the other was hilarious.....does that ring a bell?
