I thought being a nice day today I'd take the TVR out for a run.

Just as well as walking past the Supra I noticed the front nearside tyre totally flat.

On closer inspection the inside edge of the tyre is completely bald and in a thin line for about 18 inches through to the canvas

The other side is badly worn aswell.
I had a service 3000 miles ago at a Toyota dealer and had £600+ worth of work to replace the lower wishbones.I have all this on the same invoice to prove it.
At the same time I had an MOT which showed the tyre depths at 4.0mm each.
That was at 15,000 and now I'm on approx 18,500.

I have a feeling that the car may have been incorrectly tracked after the work as the middle and outer edges of the tyre are fine.

I am going to have a word with them this week as from 4mm to illegal in 3000 miles is not right.

The dealer has just given up or lost its Toyota Franchise, so I don't know how much joy I will get.

I'll let you know how I get on.

He should have told you that you'd need to have it tracked again once the bushes had bedded in after maybe a month.

They never mentioned that to me.
I only had it done in July of this year.

Because they can't replace just the bushes, they needed to replace the whole arms aswell.

Not quit ein the same league but my mondeo needed new suspension arms. They come with new bushes pressed into the arms or they would have had to fit new bushes (not to do so would be madness). I had my car tracked after I did the work and they advised me to come back after a month when it had all settled down as it would need doing again which has turned out to be the case. They should have told you this imo.

Proviso... obviously, your car could be completely different but I doubt it.
