Impending doom from new neighbours
Discussion
Got home last night to find that my neighbours who live opposite the entrance to my drive have moved, not that bad a thing when you first look at it as he was a plod of the worst parentage. However image my reaction to find two cars on the drive then a Black Cab, an Astra Van (with some sort of Dent Doctor graphics all over it) and a full on 100% maxed to the hilt Corsa in the road directly opposite my drive
the road is not very wide and getting in and out is likely to become a bit tricky. My first hope was that they were cars from "friends" helping the "newbies" move in, but they were all still there this morning and I'm getting a horrible sense of impending doom. It's just not on surely I'm the only bugger allowed to have more vehicles than room to put them
, I can just sense I'm going to meet a Harry Enfied style golf jumper wearing cabbie, and a reverse cap wearing spotty yoof at the weekend, come back plod all is forgiven. Or am I jumping to too many conclusions due to my biggoted perception of certain cars ?????

The best bit of advice I got was "If they park on your drive again torch the car and send them the bill for the damage to your tarmac."
Still...p*** taking aside. If they park inconsiderately why not have a quiet word...if they can see they're preventing you from getting in and out of your own property surely they'll be more careful in future...

Again good points, the "Dent Doctor" might be able to do me a good deal on stone chips, and Mrs Mel has already said "If he cabs in town I might ask If he'd take me to work and back everyday, It might work out cheaper than a season ticket and would be much easier" I guess I'm just looking at it from a pessimistic way they might be decent people and I haven't given them a chance yet.
to be fair (WHY????) if he's anyhing like the Maxxed up owners lliving reasonably close to me, they'll be VERY quiet and polite, never actually drive the car, but spend a LOT of time with mates fitting the worlds largest speakers into the boot... they only become proper Yoofs when they're out of possible earshot of their parents..!
Sounds like it's got potential to be a bit like the convicted TWOCer and idiot road racer about three doors down from me - total arse - spends every waking minute tricking up crap cars and then wraps them around street furniture almost immediately.
Nasty sod too - he had a go at my lad for washing our car and getting some tools he had under his car wet. The lad tells me that he hadn't been out at the car for at least 2 hours. - Distinctly un-neighbourly row ensued.
The latest incident was last week when my girlfriends mum (who is 78) was parking outside our house (she was feeding our moggies while we were away).
It's a tricky spot to get into (on a bend and a steep hill) and she was struggling a bit. The little s*** gave her a real mouthful when she got out of the car along the lines of " You touch my f***in' motor when you get out and I'll f***in stab you etc etc.
I only found out about this yesterday from my next door neighbour - Time for a knock on his door methinks!!

his maturity is overwhelming!
apart from lots of ideas I have to sort aguements with local idiots; the easiest way to ever deal with bad neighbours, is to get on with them.
local yoofs by me always making racket, sitting on my car etc..
my missus goes out and rants, does nothing.
I come home and join in the chat, offer them booze and drugs. result:- they like me, and havent yet connected why they got nicked for drinking underage and drugs two days later...
