Hello Has anyone got any idea which way a sky dish is ment to be pointing (long/lat/elivation etc..)

I hate sky these days. The adverts are getting more and more frequent. It really pisses me off. Not only do you pay a subscrption like the BBC, you get ten times the adverts that ITV dare thrust at you. Only the other day we sat down to relax infront of the tv to watch 12 Monkeys film. I kid you not, the film credits had just rolled, we saw 1 minute of film, the on comes the advert break! Waste of facking time if you ask me. I won't be renewing my sub and will put all my cash towards building up my DVD libruary instead.

What channel were you watching the film on, Roadrunner? It must have been Bravo or UK Gold or suchlike, as I have never seen adverts on the "subscrption" film channels.

I agree the number of ads, esp for insurance claim outfits, is pretty outrageous - it is getting more and more like USA every day

Unless we start getting 5 ad breaks in the average episode of Friends our commercial television is still miles ahead of the USA.

I have never been so glad to get back to the Beeb in all my life!

Yeah, the good old Beeb is still eons ahead of the commercial boys...

I mostly watch Beeb channels through Sky for the digital quality and proper widescreen, with the 2nd most popular bunch of channels the UK TV stuff, which is repeating mostly Beeb content.

Well worth the licence fee, I reckon...
