Should not be doing this, but in the interests of petrol heads everywhere...you have not lived until you have driven on these roads...

1. A4069 (Pont Aber-Brynamman)- resurfaced, smooth, ex RAC tarmac rally stage - bonkers hill climb

2. B4368 (Glanmule-Craven Arms) unbelievable, did not see a car for 40 minutes

3. B4519 (Garth-Brecon) - not quite as good as 4069, but still totally bonkers - views are incredible

4. A4059 (A470-Hirwaun) - too good for words

Whats so good is that they are all a bit tight and twisty so you can have loads of fun without breaking the speed limits (by too much)

Mines a pint when you realise the point of owning a sports car again.

Shouldn't this be in the Roads section of PH???

Have a look here for a nice 300mile round trip up in the highlands.

can't say, except the fuggers have put speed monitoring equipment all over it. So I expect it will all become 40mph bullsh*t before spring. Damn !
