Driving through Kettering last night, I noticed a relatively new camera in town - painted all blue. Now, Northants cameras are supposed to have at least a flash of yellow on them as they are part of the camera revenue scheme - what is the legality of a camera without the yellow bits?? As it was placed after the other cameras were painted, why is this one almost impossible to see at night (from 4pm - 9am!!!) Where would a motorist stand if caught by this camera?
I have written to my MP in the past about the cameras, but had a standard reply that didn't deal with the real issues. Is ABD the answer?
