Dear Claire Raynor
I work with a girl who previously I have got on very well with, we both went away togther for work purposes last week and again got on very well, now for some reason she will hardly talk to me now. any thoughts, im sure havent said anything wrong, so is it my smelly arm pits.

No if she dosent want to speak to me, fine, i can live with that, but I would like to know why. what makes it more suspicious is that she is chatting to everyone else. The plot thickens. are girls allways this odd.

Before the PH collective diagnoses the problem, we need to know the following;

1) are you trying to get some action here?

If YES - we'll diagnose.
If NO - problem solved, don't worry about it.

could you be more specific as to what 'very well' means.

She might have pulled someone else and is giving you the cold shoulder because a) she's feeling guilty b) she's trying to tell you that she's 'off limits' now so don't flirt with me c) she's a girl and girls act this way sometimes for absolutely no reason d) she's suddenly realised that good girls should play hard to get and is now doing so e) she's a girl and girls act this way sometimes....

I DO hope this isn't the old "how do I tell him about the genital warts problem" routine.

I think it is foolish to even attempt to fathom out what is going on inside a woman's mind. I think it was Einstein that said it was the one problem man would never solve. Just put it down to hormones and forget it!

Was there any social drinking in this little business trip?

Because if your anything like me you will have tried to be "good" for an hour or so. Then you'll probably have tried to bone her ...... Tell her this, if she is a fun loving girl then she'll hopefully just laugh. If she doesnt, then you may want to try and recall your movements for the duration of your trip and apologise.

Alternatively just forget it, act normal. It will blow over.

right, more info, no slap and tickle but had a good laugh with beer and evening meals etc. we chatted about all sorts of stuff. I live with my chick and she is newly married so that part is out of the question. Like I said before im more curios about what I have done to change her attitude. I like the idea of warning me off though as shes taken, this could be it. I was only being friendly and I never touched her bottom.

You see, here comes the truth of it all. She probably saw your gorping at her ass in those annoying mirrors they have at the bar in hotels.

"Hi, can I have two pints, a bottle of smirnoff ice, and oh look my college is checking me out"

Girls used to be members of the maingroup 'women'.
Processes happening within a member of the group 'women' are not readable, understandable or reproduceable for a member of the group 'men' and vice versa.

Question answered?

Perhaps I should just ask her what I have done.

That'd get my vote. Question is, will she talk to you?

One way to find out... (fingers crossed)

My theory is, she's got the raging horn for you and knows that you're not available, so has decided the best thing is to keep away...

The reply will be either:
"What are you talking about? / Ihave no idea what you mean."
or
"What? You have no idea, what you've done???"

You'll never get a concise reply

You could always just email her, probably best not to put a link to this thread on it though
