Whilst looking through Dutton's Amphibi-Car website (Im bored of the normal jaunt to work) www.timdutton.com/notice.html with the para starting "NO MORE RED CARS " I noticed the following remark!
"Red pigment in GRP fades quickly under sun light (normally in a couple of years) compared with other colours (normally 20+ years). To combat this cadnium is added to red to extend the light fastness. It's nice to know that EU time and our money are spent on really important issues and you can now sleep peacefully knowing that if you were to accidentally eat a Dutton you would not suffer from cadnium poisoning"
er no, so you'd be ok then??
Well you have to hand to them. They're British and they don't pay for advertising, and now we know why...
