I'd like to nominate the Triumph Herald front suspension upright, used in many Loti from & through to formula cars and by many many other manufacturers.

Ford Crossflow engine – used in everything in its various guises, from Mk2 Cortinas to the Ka. Plus it was the basis for the BDA, which eventually powered the RS200. Big respect.
