Will Hoy (BTCC master) has pased away

He contested in over 150 rounds of the BTCC betwen 1989 to 1999 winning 9 raes an the overall title in 1991. He passed away peacefully on the 19th of december, My condolences to will's family and friends.

At 7.30pm on Thursday 19th December 2002, Will lost his fight against a malignant brain tumour. He passed away with no pain and in the presence of his wife at the London hospital where he had been for most of the past 3 months since diagnosis. Also with him were some other family and close friends. Will's brain tumour was inoperable, but that did not stop his fight. Using every ounce of the determination he had shown throughout a great racing career, Will lasted longer than many thought he would. There will be a private service for family only before Christmas, with a bigger Celebration of Will's life being planned for 2003. Please watch this website for details.
