Red Cross Decoration Ban.

The Red Cross have been banned from putting up any Christmas decorations, for fear of "offending muslims".
Am i the only one thats getting a little sick of this continual bullshit nonsense?

As a post scrpt to my earlier posting , i would suggest that any muslims who are indeed offended by the practice of christans, should immediately vacate this christian land in favour of a muslim dominated one.
If this is the way its going to be here from now on, i for one dont want you here.

As I inferred above, I don't believe anything like a majority of Muslims in this country are offended by xmas decorations, connotations or celebrations unless someone can show me proof..

After all, Muslims freely do their stuff - Mela, Eid etc.. here and such celebrations are broadly welcome.. Mela is about the only decent public festivity to be seen in Bradford for example.. rather that than a Gay Pride march anyway

this is just another PC do-gooder who's grossly misguided good intentions are actually backfiring and causing resentment of Muslims amongst the 'indiginous' population of the UK.

I am inclined to agree with him. I'm not a practicing christian, or follower of any religous belief, but I do not get offended by them celebrating in any way they choose.

Unfortunately more and more people are becoming less and less tolerant of Muslims, East Europeans etc.. because of this kind of BS...Little wonder the BNP are gaining seats.

The fact of the matter is that I don't know of a single muslim person who is anymore offended by christmas then I am offended by Eid, Ramadam, Chanukah, Yom Kippur or any other non-christian festival.

I get just as many christmas cards from my muslim friends as christian friends.

I'm afraid I know plenty of Muslims who are offended at every opportunity. I spent three days in a cell in Saudi Arabia after being caught with a cross around my neck and was threatened with deportation. A friend in Leicester reports that an old lady was prosecuted for the heinous crime of having a porcelain pig visible through her lounge window.

The problem is that Muslims are intolerant and that is why organisations such as the Red Cross are becoming ridiculously twitchy. If tolerance existed there wouldn't be any need for this sort of crap...

I can't see the local mullah in Turkey or somewhere banning any muslim celebrations because it might offend any local Christians.

Tolerance is a wonderful thing - its a pity we have to have this sort of shite happening, especially at this time of year. I understand they wanted to get rid of the cross, but got such a slating that it was dropped as a project.
