Numpties with trollies
Discussion
Mrs Zee went to the Supermkt at 6am today.. apparently it was mental by the time she left.. cars (well.. SUVs & MPVs) queuing onto the main road to get in SaneBarely's carpark..
And to think I need to get booze later... think I'll go down Thresher rather than saving 3 quid and getting apoplectic..

Last year, Mum went to the 24 hour tesco near the M-way at Blackpool at 3 am to do the Christmas shopping. She queued to get into the car park - thought "bugger this" went home.
Went back at 5 am - couldn't get anywhere near the car park...took 45 minutes to get into the car park and get a space. Once she had finished shopping took a further 30 minutes queuing for the till then another 15 minutes to get out of the car park.
This year she isn't going to bother.

PS they were parking on the rest of the industrial estates car parks as well.

Theres a butcher on the Wandsworth Bridge Rd who admittedly does some rather splendid Turkeys. Very well dressed they are too.
Thing is these Turkeys are about £100 a go for a medium sized one. Which seems rather a lot for a bird, it doesnt stop however 100's of people queing for most of the day on Saturday to get their bird.
Nutters.
Matt.

WTF is wrong with people nowadays - AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!
Just been shopping at local M&S store, its full of numbskulls, completely braindead Morons.
Dithering in the aisles, blocking the aisles with their trolleys to have a chat with a long lost pal.
GET OUT OF THE FCUKING WAY DOPEY You politely say excuse me and they look at you as if you shouldnt be there - I lost all sense or reason in the end if they abandoned their trolley in my way it either got rammed or shoved down another aisle.
One numpty couple were deciding which was the best value cheese selection and totally ingnored my polite 'excusee me'
revenge is sweet
the next time they abandoned their trolley I filled the FCUKING thing with cheese, pate and bacon
Sort that out at the checkout muppets :evil; [/rant]
merry Christmas fellow PHers

Nice one MM - laugh, I nearly
myself.
Had to pop into the local Saneburieds myself today. What a nightmare. The was one woman who would have had this done to her if I had thought of it.
One day I'm gonna get barred for shouting "Get outta my F
ing way you stupid bitch" at every silly woman who gets in my way - which seems to be all of them. Why is it that people lose the last vestiges of politeness and respect for their fellow person (even more so than in their cars) in the supermarket? Trolley rage IS a reality folks.

cheered me right up.. Got me booze now.. even that didn't go to plan.. half bottle of scotch requested wasn't in the bag when I got home from the offy.. don't know if I paid for it and didn't get it, or if she just didn't include it in the order, as Thresher didn't give me an itemised receipt... just a switch one..
Bollocks.. I'm starting on the loot anyway ...
Edited to say: Fair play to the girly at Thresher - I called them and asked what had happened to the bottle. She'd put it in one of the bags of beer which had been stashed in the garage. Found it in the bag she said it would be in, so I'm evidently a complete berk in truth. Oh and she'd also helped carry all the loot to my car, which was nice.

Indeed - I am frequently guilty of raising my voice to express my annoyance with people when in the supermarket.

I imagine many of them think I have Tourettes or something, but I don't care. they move & I get the result I wanted. A wide berth.
What really f
ks me off is when they move the shit round every week. Every time I go in M&S at lunchtime for a sandwich or whatever, everything is in a different place and instead of going to the same point on the same shelf for the same sandwich, you have to wander all the way along 2 aisles to find where they've put the damned thing today. Their customer service desk has yet to hear from me, as they evidently made a point of putting it upstairs right out of the way.
Sainsbury's OTOH have theirs right by the exit and consqeuently feel the sharp side of my tongue rather frequently. I hate supermarkets with a passion much to Mrs Zee's despair.
things become clearer when you imagine the trolley pushers are the 4x4 drivers and you with your lowly basket is a bicycle rider...
great thing is tho, when there's a queue you can just wade right in, basket raised above their trolleys and get to the shelves you want
tip for parking... park down a side road and walk in, like i did this afternoon.
tip for making supermarket more bearable... spend 15 minutes in the magazine section reading latest car news... gives you something to think about while walking around doing the mindless shopping thing.

Pleased to say all the food shopping was sorted by 8.30 am Saturday. Only got to wander up to the allotment tomorrow afternoon or on Christmas Day to pick the brussels & dig the leeks.
Chilling
edited to say - I have always wondered why OAPs find it necessary to do their shopping at lunchtime. They should be at home listening to the Archers or something surely and not clogging up supermarket queues.
