Thought this might be relevant considering the recent discussion on sentencing for these thieving scrotes.

The writ states Fearon is claiming damages for leg injuries stopping him finding work, says he is concerned about his "long-term sexual functioning"

hopefully the scumbag wont be able to produce any offspring to follow in his footsteps Well, not only are the thieving scrotes not likely to be sent to prison for non-agrravated burglary, but if anyone tries to stop em, then they can sue for personal damages?
The thread posted earlier about the death of common sense seems far too relevant, whatever happened to taking responsibility for ones actions?
The patients have taken over the asylum. Thats it, the only solution is for me to sue them for the trauma inflicted on me by the failures of the legal system and the departure of sanity from this once green and pleasant land.
Anyone want to take this one on a no-win no-fee basis? As I read it at work, we can probably sue the company as well for allowing me to read it....

Do society a favour, if you catch one of the low life thieving scum who only bring misery into other people lives property, kill them and dump them in a skip.
A woman who lives near me was burgled on friday night, all her christmas presents have gone, but it is the emotional distress of having her property invaded that is the most upsetting.

ing shite.Someone should shoot Brendan Fearon in the head just like the other stinking pikey Fred Barras. These people are really not worth having in society and should be used for the purpose for which they were born, i.e. For conducting medical experiments rather than using rabbits and monkeys. This is the only way these people could be of any use to the World!

If the burgler can sue for £15k why cant Tony Martin counter sue for £1M for emotional distress, shock etc and see how the burgler reacts then

Cos Tony probably wouldn't be able to claim legal aid, so have to pay for his own lawyers, and if he won, the burglar would probably only have to pay £5 a week anyway.

I fancy a Tuscan R and the opportunity to drive it across the continent possible next summer.
So what have i got to do to achieve this.....rob a few defenceles pensioners but make sure thay are the 'have-a-go' types particularly WW2 veterans.
Sue each for about..oooohhh £15k or so, for daring to 'have-a-go', then when i'm up in front of the beak complain about how my parents didn't let me have a tv in my bedroom when i was 2 years old and how i have been traumatised ever since. Should get a holiday around Europe out of it.
I'm the victim after all. If those pensioners hadn't been so old and vulnerable i would never have considered doing them, see.

I wonder what stopped him from finding work beforehand? At least on a positive note, it was reported in the local rag a while ago, that his original solicitors have declined to act on his behalf in this sordid writ. They waited for the local backlash before declining, but common sense was still just about alive at the time.

Sorry to go on just trying to get this straight. So a criminal is allowed legal aid to sue the homeowner for an injury he sustained whilst braking the law and the homeowner is not able to get get legal aid

AFAIK the crim gets legal aid because he hasn't got two forged five pound notes to rub together.
Tony Martin has assets, in the value of his farm, which means he can't get legal aid.
Surely, this trial and judgement must be a joke!?
I understand that sentences are used to show the people what's right and what's wrong.

- You're protected, even if you commit a crime knowingly. You don't have to face the consequences for your conscienceless behaviour.
- If you defend yourself against a burglar / robber / raper make sure you shoot him right in his head and kill him instantly.
Please enlighten me, I don't get it.
