I'd say quite usual for the Rhein-Main area.
Been to Bavaria last week, and they had lots of ice raining down and a 108km-traffic jam on the Autobahn.

A really white Christmas just won't happen, unless you're above 1,000 meters.

Cold should come back around later, I suppose in late January.
We had freezing cold in mid October but it only lasted a couple of days...

I'm afraid white Christmas are gone forever in our areas...

Snow is expected for christmas in central Pennsylvania. Just under 5 inches is projected to fall. Looked out the window at the local ski area. The lights are on and there skiing. It's cold enough to make their own snow. Looks cool with the lights on. Test drove a 2000 mustang GT with the 4.6 V8. Pretty cool but im not sure, the build quality was not very good. Nice sound though with the 32valve engine and the 5-speed.

Dark, raining, miserable here in Newcastle, the weather report on the radio at 7.00am said it was going to be a warm 56F. WARM?

The winter solstice has gone so the days are getting longer - soon be summer again!! I wish my kids could see a white Christmas before they're too old to appreciate it's magic. Still, it's just a warm cycle, NOT global warming - the tree huggers can go play wth their ethnically PC toys. Merry Christmas, everyone!!!
