According to my TV Trash magazine there is a new motoring based programme on ITV on Friday 3rd January at 11.30pm. It is called Revved Up and is described as "A motoring magazine celebrating the world of extreme machines".

Might be worth setting the video.

sounds like a lax power muppet car show. But maybe not, Any change of reminding me nearer the time, lol.

I beleive it is aimed more at the teenage maxpower brigade.

I'm sure there'll be plenty of debate once it's been seen.

The papers say it covers, in today's episode:

High performance cars;
High performance bikes; and
High performance modded motors.

It does indeed sound like Maxie P stuff.

But hey! Half an hour's TV on motoring, regardless of content, has to be better than half an hour of celebrity cooking or some other Godforsaken programme scheduler's idea of entertainment.

The trailer I saw for this showed Darren Manning of Pulling Power and motor racing fame, so hopefully it won't be Max Power TV. Guess we'll find out tonight.

There is a fine line between the likes of CCC and the usual automotive soft porn (Max Power being a case in point).

So far I haven't seen any tv programmes yet that manage to stay the right side of the line without being unbearably dry and tedious.

Still I will give this new programme a shot and see if it is as dire as I expect it to be.

It made Driven look really good.

Roll on the Richard and Judy Motor programme, couldn't be any worse.

Shite? I thought it was the best comedy I'd seen in ages. LMAO - especially the bit where the girlies had to guess which muppet belonged to which car.
