Enough of this xmas bonhomie.. these people are all morons.. can't get a cab.. can't watch what I want on the TV..
Scum and peasants.. none of whom could organise a shag in a brothel.
Angry start to the new year for CarZee, my friends...![]()
(I can't imaging anyone is surprised)
Tired of the rellies, CarZ? I've still got mine. Don't go until the New Year.
Must....not....kill.......Must...not....use...death..grip...must not...killl.....aaaaaaarrrrrrhghgghhhhhhh!
They're going home today. Thank f
k.
In the last six days I've spent more time with them than in the entire 10 years since I left home.
It wasn't all bad but I really could have done with being able to spend the only days off I had in my own way & by last night I'd just had enough.
Oh well.. hopefully it's job done for another 10 years.. love em really.. 200 miles away though, preferably

Actually, it wasn't entirely a rant about the rellies.. more about the utter stupidity of the whole Festival Place jobbie in Basingstoke.
Went down there last night in a cab. Asked cabbie to book us a car back later but he wouldn't - "just call us when you're ready, we're not busy tonight" he said.
The tex-mex place doesn't take advance table bookings, and couldn't give us a table for nearly an hour, but they don't have a bar area or any such place to wait & have a drink. Half their tables were empty but they do not have enough staff to wait on them all.
Went in the Witheredgoons pub for a quick drink.. noisy shiny hellhole - magpies and the shallow easily impressed types obviously love it though.
Back to the tex-mex place. Very nice food, very average service.
When finished, called cab firm. No cabs for at least an hour & half. Guy who dropped us off is a lying barsteward. Went back to pub for a few drinks whilst waiting for the cab. Which didn't turn up. Eventually I managed to blag a cab that had just dropped some people off. He told me that the cab firm I'd used had lost 3/4s of their drivers on Boxing day.. fcuk knows how.. but he reckoned that cab firm would have a hard time picking anyone up in the next week or two until they get some more drivers.
Now, what's the point in having all this new stuff if you can't get to it and more importantly, get home from it. I wonder what it's like outside there at 11.30 on a Friday night when the pub chucks out and there are no cabs available. Oh and lets not forget that most of the people who live within walking distance of this area are scum & trouble makers who live in the council estates inside the ring road.. powder keg.. and of course there are no police in Basingstoke at all as far as I can tell..
Total joke. Badly thought out and I'm never going back. Still, at least Basingtstoke's 'food & drink centre' is now a carbon copy of Reading, Staines, Guildford and just about every other 'modern' town you've ever been to.
Utter vacuous homogenised shite.
And how do they expect to effectively reduce drink driving when there are nowhere near enough cabs available and non-alcoholic drinks (soft drinks, Kaliber etc) are more expensive than the alcoholic drinks in these places?
bah..

I'll tell you why there are no cabs. We're all fed up with fighting, abusive, loudmouthed, kebab eating drunks. Hopefully I am not refering to any of you lot! But, we want to earn a living without fearing for our safety and our cars. I worked on Christmas Day on double fare, and took less than I did on June 25th this year on single rate. Why? Because I took less than half the number of fares! The same will apply on New Years Eve. There is no point in going out at 6pm because there will be no fares. People do not want to pay double rate, so they will drive to their functions. They will have pre-booked taxis to pick them up, starting at 12.15am. I guarantee those first batch of fares will not be there! So you move on to the 12.30's. They won't come out til 12.40, and so the snowball starts. We start to run late, the drivers are fed up, the customer is complaining because it's double rate and things go from bad to worse. All for less money than a normal night! Enough of the festive season. 'Normal' nights are bad enough now. Many of my colleagues have stopped working nights because of the violence, and soon, those that are still working will start their shift at 6.00pm taking pleasant sober people out. They will stop working at 11.30 when things turn nasty, and leave the police to sort things out.
I have every sympathy for cabbies - I know I certainly couldn't do it myself, at least not without murdering people.
Lost a lot of that sympathy a few weeks ago thanks to one a$&*hole cabbie (black cab that is) who was giving *ME* verbal when I wanted a ride from Heathrow to home (just 4 miles away). I knew it was a bit of tough luck for him and was prepared to give him a big tip to soften the blow of rejoining the cab queue at the airport. Instead he got pissed off and then started playing ignorant, trying to find the most roundabout and confused route he could manage. It took 20 minutes to get from Heathrow to my house (normally straight on over 4 roundabouts, no turnings, no junctions except with the motorway) at 12:30am on a sunday night so there was zero traffic to contend with and even had the gall to leave the meter running when I handed him a note and asked for change, he cancelled it when he had managed to dig out enough coinage to cover the rapidly descending difference. Initially he claimed he had NO change at all - do you think I gave him the tip?
