In preparation for tomorrow, I hereby open the Pistonheads 2003 hangover thread. You may describe your celebrations (and the resulting pain tomorrow) using the smilies Ted has kindly provided, so I'm expecting to see lots of posts along the lines of

Hope you all have a good night!

Would I be too disgracefully smug if I said I'm not going to have a hangover because I'm sober??

Happy New Year everyone, I'm also sober, not allowed any alcohol due to the medication I'm on, but never drink anyway.....I'm always the designated driver......at 16 ah well.

Have a great 2003, 2002 has been terrible for me with being ill.

So, wishing you all a prosperous 2003, have a superb year everyone.

Best wishes,

Graham

This is the first New Year in 22 years that I'll have spent sober . Also the longest period in that time that I've been sober (over 3 weeks)

Ahh well, at least I've found out I'm not dependant on drink, I'm just a habitual drinker

Still on standby waiting for (overdue) baby - little beggar wants to stay where he is I guess

Have a good 2003 everyone!

ALERT...

To all PHers...

Drink a LOT OF WATER before going to sleep tonight. Alcohol is a diuretic. Depletes you of water. If you drink a lot you will disable a hangover...

.. or p!ss the bed...

Morning everybody
[/quietmode]

Well the New Year has dawned wet & overcast - not very good driving weather, and with a hangover from yesterdays beer, wine & brandy (why do I have to mix the stuff after a few ? ). First pint of tea made and sausages sizzling in the pan, bacon, tomato, mushrooms and toast to come Oh and halfway down a glass of wine to assist with feeling better :hairydog: After brekky and another pint of tea I should feel better - else its back to bed

Happy New Year everyone.

Bob

[edit] Brekky finished - Feeling much better now. Going for a walk. TTFN.
