Yes but it does come complete with a tweed cap and pipe!!!!!

Regulars will know that I love to get my hands on just about any Bristol even though I don't own a tweed cap or a pipe.

This one looks like fun but without a proper windscreen and weather equipment is not really a Grand Tourer (blasts to Italy?)and it's use seems to be limited to a blast down to the pub on a sunny morning. There are other makers who's cars can do that better.

I really hate to say it but this one isn't for me, it does however give me a few ideas about what I could do with a crashed Bristol.

Bring on the Fighter. I think the model looks good and I'm told the real thing is even better.

Bristols could only be made in the UK, something v Britishly eccentric about them - better ways to spend £150k tho' surely? Who buys 'em secondhand?

These exclusive hand made cars are still made by raiding the parts bins of mainstream manufacturers.

Rear lights cluster on the Blenheim is from a Vauxhall Senator, door handles are Ford etc.....

That's why they have survived they haven't spent millions on tooling for simple things they can buy elsewhere, now doesn't that sound familiar???

But the new Bristol Fighter, although not looking the slightest bit like a T350C in concept seems to be......well, all theirs.

£205,000 inc VAT for this is a bit much even if it was a parts bin special.

Is anyone going to buy this?

They probably appeal to the generation that don't care about looks that much, more about having something unique.

In my eyes its classic british excess - there's a few more examples of it around (Saville Row, Bond Street etc. etc.)

Must admit always fancied a 405 convertible, but price of parts put me off - Bristols def have style and more to point individuality - sadly lacking in present day offerings (reference other cars not Bristols)...
