I must add to that title that I am a TVR nut and having owned a Griff before it will be a bloody good suggestion that sways me from another one but hey, I am willing to listen to suggestions

I am 6'6" so sadly Caterhams are out really, as are Elise's

Come on, convince me....

Loads of nice Chimaera's available at that money. Lovely car. More practical boot than the Griff. Its not the same motoring icon but it has the same engine, goes like hell, sounds brilliant, is still a TVR, can be used every day etc etc.

You could stretch a little further a go look at some Porsches. I recently saw a Boxster (2.5) at 17K. These are great for grabbing the sunshine whenever its there and go respectably enough - not TVR stylee, mind.

For the money...I'd get a Chim. But I already have one...so it'd be a Lotus Elise. Fantastic handling. Really pure. Decent fuel ecomony. Great.

Edited to say: "d'oh". Not the Elise then....

OI!! I'll have you know you'll be lucky to find a Mantis for much less than £23K.

Bloody cheek. I dunno, some people. They don't depreciate TVR styleeee you know.

968 CS.
It would be a pristine example for 15k and they are excellent value for this price (but of course I'm a bit biased )

A little off beat, what about a twin engined Tiger Z100. You'll have to put the spanner work in yourself, but, ...... 0-60 in 3.11sec and 0-100 in about 6.5sec. Now that is DAMN fast.
