Now that habitual burglars can get off a jail term if they claim to be a poet, how long before the appeals court is jammed with claims from wrongly imprisoned artistic murderers, rapists, paedophiles etc;?
Next time I'm nicked for speeding, I reckon I can get off scot free by claiming to be an unemployed performance artist!

Do what? I do hope you're merely availing yourself of the Ottomans' bathing facilities, old chap..

what's the source of this? (naturally I'll check the usual suspects...)

Did anyone read the "poetry" written by this man - it's roughly the standard produced by a semi-educated 8 y.o. - something like:- "Justice Woolf set me free, In a blaze of publicity." WOW!! Cutting edge stuff....

Well done, gentlemen.

You know, yesterday, as I was locking things down, I happened upon an adult rodent peddling his ill gotten wares to a gaggle of all too eager pre school urchins.

Seconds later, the motley bunch had dispersed into the shadows, their transaction disturbed by the prescence of moi-meme. In their place, a conflagration had appeared, threatening to engulf the adjoining business premises.

Yet another 7 day week was grinding to a halt and as the fire engine drove away I sat there, pondering the nature of life, the universe and everything.

And you know what? The answer was not 42 - it was Soylent Green.

Bloody vermin.
