Ill shortly have a Nokia 8210 for sale as im getting a second hand 8310. When i got the phone, i removed the red front cover, and black back cover, so ill put those back on. Theyre in pristine condition. The phone is also boxed with its charger, manual etc and works perfectly. Ill wipe all the names and operator logo etc so itll be in as new condition. The only bit that wont look like new is the bit on the back that isnt removable - they tend to go a bit 'smooth' and shiny, but theres not a lot i can do about that!

Ill obviously be happy to send it to the buyer via recorded post etc.

£offers.

oh BTW, i might be able to provide a Vodafone PAYG sim card if i can find a spare one. The phone is unlocked and should accept any network, although ill check this before its sent out!

*disclaimer: i dont know what the policy is on here regarding 'classifieds' so if ive broken any rules, im v sorry!*

Hmmmm, well I'm a mean Scotsman and I drive a hard bargin. On ebay they go for less that that so I couldn't really justify the extra.

I'll meet you halfway. 60 quid and I'll pay for the postage making a total of £66. Assuming the recorded delivery is £6.

If you're interested then you can mail me, my address is in my profile.

Andy
P.S. If you're not intersted in the offer then I won't take offence its just business

Andy, ive managed to read your mails, but it wont let me reply - so heres what ive been trying to send!

----------------
Andy,

Im so so so sorry about this mate, i had no idea the phone would do this - honestly.

Right, now for the solution - i had it on Vodafone, and it IS under warranty - i know this for a fact as the day i sent it, i had a problem with it (screen flickered and went off, then came back on again), so, not wanting to send you a dodgy phone, i went into Nokia and had it replaced under warranty. They also tested it with an Orange sim card. I tested it with my SIM card, all was fine so i sent it off to you - so it IS under warranty.

If you would prefer, id be happy to take the phone back into the Nokia shop here and give them a bollocking as the phone was supposed to be brand new!! If you can get it sorted up there then all the better - it was definately used on Vodafone, so it should be absolutely fine mate. Please feel free to contact me by phone or email if you have any more queries. I hope you get it sorted!

Cheers

Dave

------------------

all i can do is apologise - and offer to take it back into the Nokia shop here if necessary. Obviously its better if you manage to get it sorted up there, as it will save you the postage costs!

Let me know how you get on mate.

Nokia 8210's, nutorious for screen problems,- Mine broke, fixed it, and fixed one for a mate aswell. Simple problem to do with contacts, just needs a sponge like material replacing, avaliable from where else but ebay.

Thanks for posting that mate, im really glad you got it sorted, and at no expense! Hope youre happy with the phone now. As someone above said, Nokias are notorious for screen problems, but this wasnt a screen problem - it just refused to hold a signal apparently! As the phone wasnt that old, it was under warranty - hence the free repair.

Cheers
Dave
