After a month or twos absence I'm back and it's damn good to be here! 
Now fully sorted up in Auckland, NZ happy in my job and new flat (although still sleeping on an airbed as i cant afford to have all my gear shipped up just yet) Don't have the TR7 on the road any more, im shelving it for a while so I'm pottering round in a Japmobile.
Hope this finds you all well and i look forward to rejoining the gassing community..... roll on the drunken mungo stories

We've got friends from Auckland staying with us at the moment and they're chuffed to fluck with all the white stuff all over the place. They were out in the back garden yesterday throwing the stuff at one another and rolling up big snow man balls, untill I pointed out that I hadn't picked up any of the dogs turds for a week
HAhAa good one mel, well its been decidedly un-summerlike here apart from the week over xmas/newyear. At the moment its blowing a gale and raining cats and dogs, has been for a coule days now... dunno whats happened to summer..... its still warm, and very muggy but wetter than one of mungos dates after he drops his daks.
As for you Mara long time no bloody see mate good to see you again Results are in and I passed everything with Second Class honours.... not a bad effort seeing as apparrently this year competition was HELL tough in our degree. Good to see you back too mungo, some things never change eh? ull have to take me for a blat in that Seat once im over and u can try to convince me that the 205GTi isn't the be-all-and-end-all of hot-hatches

Aye Daydreamer, good cars they are too, getting sparse now and suddenly a car tat everyone hated a few years ago suddenly seems to begin being fondly remembered!
And don't worry Byff, she's sitting under a nice cover in a warm, dry garage and will get a run every fortnight or so to keep her oiled up,.... I'm thinking of doing a bare metal rebuild on her. I'm gonna keep my ears out for a worked Rover V8 as they often come along pretty cheap over here and just spend a while upgrading as I rebuild..... if you'regoing to do things, do them properly I say

Well Esprit, you have motivated me to get a couple of car pictures up onto the site. MR2 and TR7 (in a rare clean moment 
) are in my cars.
God I miss it
Don't know how I would manage in NZ though - I think that I was Rimmer Brothers best customer for the two and a bit years that I had it for. The final milage of 109,000 is genuine btw - Had to replace the radiator and put luminition ignition on to get it there. Who says that everything that BL built fell apart.
BTW - get that Rover V8 in - you know it makes sense. Might be a good idea to make sure that you have some decent suspension and brakes first though .
