I smell a SCAM

Hey just got this in my email..
Dear sir,
I am well confident of your capability to assist me in a transaction for mutual benefit of both parties, ie (me and you) I am also believing that you will not expose or betray the trust and confidence I am about to establish with you. I have decided to contact you with greatest delight and personal respect.
Well, I am LUIS SAVINBI, Son to Late Dr- SAVINBI who was assasinated by the one of the RABEL FORCE months ago in my country Angola.
Few days after the assasinated of my father, as I was going through some of my Father`s files and documents. I found in his underground safe, One Metalic Iron Box containing USD$ 18. million dollars cash (Eighteen Million dollars.) This money was made from the sell of Gold and Diamond by my Father and he have already decided to use this money for future investment of the family.
Meanwhile, me and my Mother have moved-out the box from Angola through the help of my Late Father`s friend, who owns a fishing troller to one of the Dutch Carribean Island.
The Box has being sucssesfully deposited in a security company here in Curacao, through the assistance of a lawyer I contacted here in Curacao on our arrival for the safety of the money in the box. We have been granted political stay as a Refugee by the Government of Dutch Carribean.
I therefore solicit for your assistance to transfer this money into your account immediately, so that I can come down with my mother to your country for investment. On your interest in this transaction, you will be expected to write and send to me "A LETTER OF GUARANTEE" showing me that my money is safe on the arrival into your account. This letter will enable me to also, establish more stronger relationship with you. After the letter, then you will send me your Bank name and Account number for the immediate transfer of the money into your account.
I have decided to offer you 12% of the total amount at the end of this transaction, for your assistance. Other important information will be given to you on your response because already all arrangement has been concluded. I wish to remind you that the security of this business is very important and as such, I will like you to keep this transaction, very confidential.

How is it normally sensible people, get taken in with such utter tosh, i mean getting a letter through your door saying, "you have been selected by our experts, to win a million, just sign up for our 30 books a month deal". Was bad enough, but getting equally un-solicited EMail goes straight in the bin surely!

Talking of scams, I thought that I should pass this along - it sounds legitimate.....
There is another awful scam going on out there. You should send this to any women you know and care about. I don't normally forward warnings about scams, but this one looks important.
If a man comes to your door and says he is conducting a survey and asks you to show him your tits, DO NOT SHOW HIM YOUR TITS. This is a scam.
He is only trying to see your tits.
