Help please - email newsletters?

Looking to set up one of the above. May be (eventually) to a few thousand people, so the question is, how do I do it?

Using Outlook? Or is there software specifically for the job? Can I automate it, so people input an email address on my website? Can anyone talk me through it in layman's terms?

Just set up a group there. You can make the list open or closed, i.e. people can add themselves, or only you control who is on the list.

By far the best solution is topica. www.topica.com
I wouldn't use listbot if I were you, and mailing 2000 people from your computer is likely to be a headache with sub/unsubscrptions and will likely trigger spam filters, and may even (depending on your ISP) get your shut down till they establish what you are doing.

Go with Topica. Good system, better than listbot, and very user friendly. I had 7000 subscribers with them and managing the account (its all free) was a doddle

topica works very well, you do get a bit of advertising but nothing to worry about
