Zymol Cleaner Wax

This is of possible interest to TVR car owners who pamper their cars and like them to look mint.
Zymol is rumoured to be the best car polish/available. Their best wax sells for £1300 for a hair gel size tub about 150ml (no joke, look on their website) and they made some for £800 so that Ralph Lauren could polish his old Bugatti. I have a supply of the 500ml bottles of the Cleaner Wax if anyone is interested (cleans and polishes/waxes at the same time, shines like hell and smells divine). I use it on my TVR and it does a very good job. Price will probably be around £40 for the bottle which is expensive for car wax but it is the best there is and i'll get it and sell it if anybody is interested. email on the address on my profile.

READ THE ZYMOL FORUM/WEBSITE.
The Zymol available in halfords is not the same Zymol. They have leased their name to a 3rd party producer who use it on their wax. The original zymol products are extremely expensive and 100% natural.

I use a range of cleaners on my old golf, and other than wax wizard, nothing comes close, it's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. My paintwork is 14 years old now, and looks as good as when it rolled out the show-room.
The chocolate based HD-Clense is fantastic. What people should note is is you're using this for gods sake do not use fairy liquid or any other detergent to wash the car. You need a natural substance to remove the dirt such as their lemon-based washer.

David h, you seemed to have missed my point. There is not (correct me if I am wrong) a proper full fat type Zymol called cleaner wax. I myself use Swissol stuff (WW) and Zaino when the weather is warm enough.

Rich, there is mate. Its on sale in Halfords for about thirteen quid a bottle. Sky blue coloured. Not bad for your brass, but for me left loads of blue residue all over the car which took ages to get out with a toothbrush. Tasted strange when I cleaned my teeth later as well....

Its not a patch on the proper stuff...

oh pleeeeeeease I said there is no proper full fat Zymol as per the first post. The thing in halfords is not the proper stuff, its manufactured under license in some horrible factory.

Just had a look in the booklet I got with my Zymol kit (the expensive one from Sportscar World) and found this:

"Natural Cleaner Wax TM
Item #Z503cw * 16 ounces"

Blah blah etc.

So the "real" Zymol does indeed do a Cleaner Wax. A TM-ed one at that...

If it makes you feel any better, Zymol markets this particular product as being especially suited to SUVs and trucks. So not a mainstream car product then...
