Right, tempted to kick start spring, and blow away my S.A.D. with a trip somewhere sunny
Got access to a place in Furtaventura but just need to get there, anyone got any good links to cheap flight only dealers, idealy traveling early March from East Midlands

try
bmibaby.com and mytravellite.com or something like that!
when your there, get a jeep and go to cofte (v. south), its a 6 mile dirt track up a mountain, but well worth the trip. not a building for miles and a fabulous beach (not for kids) strong waves and current.
avoid august - windy season.

I stayed at costa calma palace -very nice, hard to find in UK agents. thomson premiere I think. the brochure does nothing for it. its far nicer than it suggests

Glad to have helped.. One useful thing I've done today. Boss always wonders what I get up to when working from home. 'Research'..

Get a 4X$ if you head south. Had an interesting moment or two in a 306 when the tarmac suddenly became a dirt track.. Some of the more secluded beaches were a little interesting to get to in the pug..

Bugger!
Just remembered I've changed jobs to a company whos holiday allocation runs from April to April, and guess what, I've only got 3 1/2 days left, so that was a waste of everyones time, sorry
S'pose I could take it unpaid or wait till April

Sorry to hear that Raceboy. At least you have the information now, for when you need it.
