Grrr.
Just discovered that my current insurance company won't touch the car I'm looking at replacing the Celica with.
Because it's a Jap import.
"They don't pass UK crash regs" was the rather pathetic excuse I got.
The UK and Jap cars are built on the same lines. The differences are:
Jap car has twin airbags (so therefore safer)
Jap car has full climate control rather than air-con.
Funny fog light.
Square plate.
Errrrr...
That's it.
Anyone know a good import friendly insurer for a 1996 JDM Toyota Celica GT4 (yes, another Celica. I liked the current one so much).....
