Garage furniture - your ideas please
Discussion
Still following up on my New Years resolution to tidy our garage up. I need to find some decent tall cupboards (preferably lockable) to keep tools in. They need to withstand the rigours of garage abuse. What I've seen so far are:
1. The Dura range - top quality but top price, about £600 for one metal cupboard!
2. Stanley range in Halfords - good price for plastic cupboards - but way too small
3. Costco - Stationery cupboards by Triumph, grey metal about £95 inc VAT each
Also had a looked at the Clarke tool range - but they don't seem to make cupboards - just shelves.
What I need is something 3-4' wide, 6' high, 18" deep. Does anyone have any ideas where I can get something (don't say Ikea!!).
Thanks
Bryan

I bought some stationery cupboards from an auction for a fiver each. A word of advice though. If they have removeable/adjustable shelves, strenghten the holding clips first. I didn't, and one of the top shelves collapsed, knocking all of them down, leaving alot of broken mess at the bottom!

try there!
I notice that this auction has just ended. Was it anybody here who slipped in a bid with 20 secs to spare?
