Motorists Need Support.

Something has been bothering me for a while now, but i couldnt put my finger on it till now,(no its not a zit either).
Im wondering if it isnt about time that ALL the car manufacturers started to give their support to the motorists that buy their cars.
What i mean by that is support against the anti car lobby, t2000 etc.
Also giving support against the london congestion charge and the speed kills lobby.
After all, we support them dont we?, by buying their cars.
Or am i being simplistic and is it just business to them all?
