Just had a play in one...

OMG considering this is a family barge it is seriously quick, not just fast but very very rapid. It also sounds nice and is comfortable and doesn't lurch all over the place! Very nice if you have 60 odd grand. As a comparison I have driven an RS4 and it is much quicker than that although the RS4 feels faster! I think it maybe the difference between manual and tiptronic and the fact that the RS6 is a big torquey V8.

Anyone else had a go or even bought one? The dealer I was at had sold all the allocation.

yep it is, got paddles behind the wheel or you can shift using the stick. It seems a pretty nice system although the torque means you don't need to shift much!
