Shear Heart attack
Discussion
Oh Wow I had to log in, first time for ages. First of all happy new year to all at PH. I have been off line for a while cos I had a heart attack on 22nd DEC. Anyway that was not pleasant but I am still here. In the meantime the Greens have been active in sunny Stockport. The filthy scum have admitted turning down plannning permission for a new car park at the local hospital. This resulted in me being unable to attend my rehab facility yesterday and so I called the local press. I guess this means I am back, only this time no more Mr nice guy. Any North west PH ers lend me your support the bastards are gonna get lots of letters while I am Off sick.
Jesus H Christ ... welcome back Nonegreen ... glad to see you didn't let a heart attack effect your clear thinking. Don't let a few Greens raise your blood pressure. Take your time and relax as you "explain" things to them.
Good luck with the rehab. Take it easy.

Welcome to the club, John!
After mine last Summer, I know more about ABC - ace inhibitors, beta blockers and cholesterol than any human should! However, only two major noticeable side effects (so far)- indigestion pains (and practically any other aches) give me the screaming panics (getting less worried about that now). And need to get my METs up to 12 - i.e. keep running up steep treadmill for about 20 minutes - to get the racing licence back!

Christ, John - glad you're ok - TAKE IT EASY - if you fancy a quick chin wag we could maybe discuss the emancipation of our regional chambers from the steely grip of Marxist Leninism over a soothing Boddies sometime?
I'm not but a hope, skip & a jump up the M60 from you and the beetle might need the exercise!
Seriously though, bloody well relax - I don't want to see any more PH losses this year, following the tragic loss of Harrigan...
Cheers bud.

Nonegreen, mate. I wondered where your particular brand of vitriol was over the last while. We've missed you!
Don't let the old blood-boiling-at-the-sheer-insanity-if-it sentiments get to you, mate. You need to be here to provide opposition otherwise they'd get away with it unchecked!
Relax. Get well. Good luck and all the best for your recovery.

Thank you for all the kind thoughts guys. It really is apreciated. I am hoping to be in the local paper next week complaining
about the parking at the hospital.... They came and took my pic earlier today, so must be going in Thursday. I just hope they quote me correctly.
Oh and Simon nice idea, but the cause of my heart attack was probably 40 fags a day topped up with half a pound of butter every 2 days, Mc Donalds, chocolate and two and a half pounds of cheese a week.
Radical lifestyle change complete and ongoing. Now where is my apple?
