I think the beeb are being a little immodest if they think there are 3 hours of highlights from the last series. Still you can't blame them for rehashing material as it's a bloody cheap way of filling prime time television slots. Now then, where's that TV Licence Fee thread gone, I feel a Nonegreen/Carzee-esque moment coming on.

To dutch standards TG is the pinaccle in televised motoring programs. But why air 180 minutes of reruns. It would have been far more satisfying when aunty Beeb had made it a series of 13 programs, or 12 with one conclusive 'best of' part.

Does this mean that the new series starts in 3 weeks? So to keep people watching BBC2 at that time on a sunday, they just compress the last series into 3 hourly programmes? Sounds logical to me...

I noticed that TG had become more PC towards the end of the series. There was no more talk of bus lanes and Gatsos. It would be shameful if somebody from the government had a word in Greg Dyke's ear over lunch suggesting that Mr Clarkson should cut it out.

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest nowadays.

Thought JC's face was a picture when he heard that the Stig had taken his beloved Merc rounf the test tract without his knowlege

Shame they made no effort to hide it wasnt actually his merc...

They could have at least put his CL 55 AMG plate on the the car on the circuit.

I thought the CL 55 AMG plate was just stuck on top of his plate for the first bit (when JC was driving), but was removed when the Stig drove.

He put the 55AMG plate on because he didnt want the public at large to see his own plate, they forgot to take his own plate off when they stole it for the STIGMEISTER...

As far as I could see the car JC drove was a blueish colour, the car that the Stig drove was a dirty grey metallic...... same car??? or just a colour change due to the weather? I don't think that Muckycedes would lower themselves to the paintjobs that change colour as the "ricebowls" and "eytieboxes" do
Agreed the numberplates were false on the JC driven car...................

The only other explanation COULD be that JC drove the car on a sunny day, and as we all know The STIGMEISTER drove JC's car on a blustery wet day ???
