Well, maybe. According to Car magazine this month it'll be based on the 2007 model year X-Type (and that's going to be RWD - HURRAY!!).

There's also talk of an X-Type coupe (again, based on the '07 model) and a coupe based on the next S-Type. I really hope that baby looks like the R-Coupe concept.

Ian Callum's first production Jag will be the new XK, due in '04....can't wait.
