I'm a smoker (no not that type either, and yes I do use oil) and have a standing rule that I wont smoke in my car, I hate the smell of smoke in a car and wouldn't buy one if it smelled, so, If you are a smoker, do you smoke in your car?

Yes..

Only place I don't like smoking (of tobacco products ) is in the bedroom at night..

Don't care any other time or place..

I probably smoke more cigs in the car than any other single location though because it's so damned boring on the commute.

Yes would be the short answer!

My dad came very close to having a smoking ban in his pride and joy, however that lasted at best a couple of months till the first long journey.

Ive never managed that although that may change when captain cashflow lets me get something nice.

I do occasionally, but with the windows wide open, and I don't use the ashtrays because of the mess and smell.

Yes if in the Pug since it's not my car. No if in the Tiv, because it's too damn hard to drive it and roll 'em at the same time

Hmm I do that one as well. I may have no idea how far away somewhere is, but I can tell you how long a journey will take on the "cig scale"

Yes, I smoke in the car but dont use the ashtray. I am similar to S2N on this one and measure time / distance on the number of fags I have smoked. Unfortunately it is not necessarily the best guide (depends on stress and speed of the traffic!).

However, looking to replace the battle bus soon and the replacement will have a 100% smoking ban. Then it is a case of giving up from there...

Cheers,

Paul

P.s. Never smoke in the house as it hangs around for ages. Cleaning a car of smoke is actually quite easy if you have the right stuff - and it comes out a treat.

I do smoke, cigarettes mostly which I dont smoke in the car.

On the odd occasion that we do get a lovely sunny day it is nice to get the roof down and crack out a Montecristo No.1 though.

Matt.

Yes. I'll smoke anywhere, anytime, and i do use my ashtrays - Great big buckets and i fill 'em both up just trundling down to the shops. Are you lot just chucking your cigarettes out of the window then?

Why do people take a pride in their cars, houses and appearance but think nothing of chucking their rubbish out of the window????
Why should someone else look at your Crap?

Lots of referencs to smoking tobacco - which does stink.

Other products when smoked actually smell wonderful if you ask me!

Dead right. I had a discarded cig stuck in my tyre tread a few weeks ago which had melted some of the tread away. If I want to melt my tyres I'll do it the fun way thanks. Bloody smokers.

And to think I used to be one.
