This is probably a repost ... and probably should be on the Lotus forum but then, if I put it there, many wouldn't notice it.

What I really want to know is how did this guy get balls that big in a car so small?

(There has to be a couple of occaisions where he swapped paint, but the mic didn't seem to pick up any noise)

Right ... gonna sit back now and await the knock from the repost police (but hey - I haven't seen it before so there's probably a few others who haven't either)

There were definite crunches and wobbles about 1:13 Interesting to see how early on he's struggling slightly on the straights, but then piles past everyone on the twisty bits.

What track is that?

Either he hit that yellow elise, or it lost it balls. But that track is fairly mental. Has he got better brakes than the others?

Judging by the advertising, Australia somewhere. What's the track with the Skyline straight? Bathurst?

Yeah it's Bathurst, there is a single make Lotus Trophy support race, there is Class B with Elise's (which Evans was in) and Class A with Exige's. The driver is Dean Evans, who is a motoring journalist, from Motor magazine. He has a reasonable amount of race experience over the years and this is one of those 'buy a ride' race categories.
