Zymol at Halfords

I toddled off to my local Halfords today, needing new car wax, and hoping that I might find some of the Zymol that a few PHers had bought recently. And Lo! There it was - bottles of liquid car wax, leather cleaner and wash stuff - apparently the bottles bought previously were a trial run, and were so successful, that Halfords will be stocing some Zymol products all teh time. I enquired about the proper "hard" waxes, but it seems they are not on any stock lists, probably because the average Halfords punter wont pay £40 for a tub of wax. It's worth it for the smell alone! My car smells fantastic, I could eat the thing!!

Well, I've used the Zymol, and the results compare pretty well with the car on the advert. The advantage is that it took 10 minutes to get the stuff from Halfords! Comparable on price too, and the smell is wonderful!

I've had this stuff applied to three cars now (black, yellow and electric blue) and it's fantastic.
It leaves the car with the best shine I've seen and the added bonus is the car is really easy to clean afterwards

It would be fairer comparing the Pinnacle stuff to the proper hard Zymol waxes, rather than the watered down stuff that Halfords sell.

The Zymol waxes are superb - even really nasty dried squashed flies just hose off after using the proper stuff, and the glossy finish is fantastic.

I have owned collector cars for nearly 30 years and I have tried literally everything out there. To be sure, Zymol and Pinnacle are wonderful products, but if you want the very best protection and a shine you wouldn't have thought possible, try Zaino Brothers Products [url]www.zainobros.com[/url].

I currently own a 1970 Datsun 240Z (w/ 20k original miles) and a 1985 Lotus Esprit Turbo (BLACK!!!). Upon the first application of Zaino Bros. products, my Lotus looked better than it did new. So much so, that this past fall it took the first place award in it's category at the US's National Lotus Owners Convention (LOG 22). When parked in the sun, the shine literally stands out about 8" from the car. I have a photo of my wife standing next to the Lotus, and her legs totally dissapear in the shine which envelopes her. I'm not certain it is available in europe yet, but Auto Museums, Classic and Show car guys here in the states use nothing else.
