Why do some blokes do this?

In the days when I used to commute to town I used to see cars pulling up outside the station, husband gets out of the drivers side, wife gets out of the passenger side, gets in the drivers side and drives off! Whats all that about?

Yep, think its cos she makes him Firkin angry when she drives so he takes himself to the station and she drives by herself.
Same as i do to the pub,I drives there i she drives back,i am to pished to give a shit how bad she drives then.

the only reason i bought an auto was because i could'nt stand 1000rpm full throttle i fifth gear when passengering.....she'd say"it has no power this pick up truck"

sorry to any females on this site but in my experience my dad would always drive everywhere.

even if we went on long journeys like down to cornwall (7 hours+ where we live) my dad would drive for a couple of hours, he'd get tired my mum would take over and 10 minutes later he'd be bored and wanting to drive again...

he was the same when my brother or i was driving aswell!!!

Actually, its a mind set gap. Those people see cars as a means of getting somewhere, and quite possibly consider driving a shag. Thus they spare the wife the effort.
