Nice to see you back, Jondokic. In the past I have used a dealer on Abbeydale road in Sheffield, Who's name escapes me at the mo, but they are very reasonably priced. If you have time, it's an easy job to do yourself, but it could be cheaper to buy from a mail-order place and phone up a mobile auto-electician to fit the stuff. Halfords are worth a go, but again, they charge more for the gear. But £650 is a total rip-off - I recently bought a 6-CD changer for £99, and a 12 slot shouldn't cost more than £150-£250, depending on make/model. Which manufacturer's kit does Audi fit?
Try - Autotek on Mary's Rd, also Technicar on Abbeydale Rd.

Thanks nubbin. The Audi kit is unbranded, but it is visually identical to the Sony 6CD changer in the new Mini.

My technical ineptitude is widely known/feared so I think I will have to get someone else to do it

www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/ reckons its panasonic kit in there - about £200 for a changer.
