Keeping busy after retirement ??
Discussion
We all know that when one retires its never really so ...
What would you really like to do as a "boredom breaker" when you retire? Is it something you dream of doing or would it be something you did simply because you can? for example, I would love to buy a charter fishing boat and do deep sea charters in South Africa or Australia, Maybe Marlin or other Gamefish!

Better stay in shape then as Gamefishing is not for the weak of heart when those 2,000lb + marlin hook up!!
It's a great life but the early starts would pi55 me off and then the bad weather days would be a pain and the cleaning of the boat......err, on the other hand maybe it's not such a great life, lunchtime drinking sounds good
How about designing and building your own car, that's my plan anyway (started it, the design
)Flog the house and buy a yacht with the money, then charter it out somewhere hot... erm... hang on... where would I live? Oh never mind. Sounds nice anyway.
Another thing I’ve often thought I'd like to do is run a bar in a foreign country although I have it on good authority that this is a damn sight more hard work than it sounds. Also could be a bit corny... Rose and Crown in Malaga anyone?

I suppose it all depends on how fit an active you are when you retire. I have always wanted to build a hot rod something like a 1931 Ford Model A with a 350ci chevy V8.
If a bit less mobile then catching up on the games I have missed. Hey in 30 years when I retire
there should be some stonking games around.
oh and surfing PH talking cr@p

Matt black and fenderless 1934 3 Window for me, or maybe a full on Willys.
I just hope I am in a position to travel lots and enjoy the time.
