I want a new car.

currently have a 2000 focus, 1.8 Zetec, and want an update. Can afford about 10, maybe 12k including trade in, want something for a single bloke, something reliable, not to expensive on insurance, and fun, but that can also fit a suitcase in the boot!

Considering a Hyundai Coupe, Alfa 147, Golf, anything else?

Posting it in General Gassing would be a good start.

How old are you? What do you class as too much to insure?

How about a Honda Integra Type-R?

My priority would be how a car goes, rather than looks. Weight the following out of 10 to give everyone an idea of where your priorities are (10 being high priority):

Looks
Performance
Noise
Comfort
Badge Snobbery
Cost of ownership (servicing and residual etc)
Consumption
Insurance
Tunability

any more to add???
