GIPSIES have put a £20,000 price on the head of Brendan Fearon, one of the burglars shot by farmer Tony Martin.
They accuse him of getting them a bad name by suing Martin for £15,000 compensation and cashing in on the death of his accomplice, Fred Barras.
Whoever takes the contract will have to wait until Fearon is released from an 18-month prison sentence for supplying heroin.
Meanwhile, there’s still time to up the ante. Twenty grand doesn’t sound all that much.

Apologies for using that disgusting four-letter word - just an observation on the marvellous summary of all the best news stories to be had from this forum.

This is getting into dangerous territory here. If Littlejohn really offered a grand to start a hitman fund, is he not in breach of the law? The fool has put it in writing, whether in jest or not, with his name attached.
On the other hand, it seems a shame that someone needs to be paid to rid the planet of scum like this. The law obviously won't lift a finger.
Perhaps Madcop could advise on how close to the wind Littlejohn is actually sailing.
BTW, not all newspapers are free on the web. Try and get the Times Online these days. They want £39.00 up front. Unless any of you know a way around this.

AFAIK they only charge foreign readers (outside of UK). How they manage that is anyones guess though..
