The state of that Cappuccino doesn't make me feel any safer driving mine

Short wheel base, peaky turbo and rwd, they can be tricky to drive on the limit as they are a bit twitchy and are hard to catch if they step out unexpectedly. Not one for the novice or clueless driver, can be good fun if know what you're doing though

The narrow track won't help matters for the inexperienced, either.

Anyone driven a cappuccino?,always fancied a shot(nothing to do with the fact I was considering one for the oh, by the way.)

You're right about them being twitchy for sure. Before I put wider (195/45R15 over the standard 165/65R14) Eagle F1s on mine it regularly kicked it's bum out in the rain. It's the first RWD car I've driven and to be honest I don't find it hard to pull back in line if a "brown pants moment" does happen. Obviously I can't compare it to other RWD cars but most owners say they're relatively easy to control a slide in.

Yes, I have They're a good laugh and feel faster than they are. You need to rev it a bit to make good progress though and the parts if you ever need any are often ridiculously priced. It's not unusual for aftermarket upgrades to be cheaper than the original parts.

They're only 65 horse power or something aren't they?

Can't be a huge handful even in the wet.

Yep, 64bhp stock, but at 700kg they're surprisingly nippy. You don't need much power to slide in the wet

They handle like a scaled down MK1 MX5.

Lots of fun at relatively low speeds but could catch you out in the wet.

This thread got me looking on Autotrader and there are tonnes of them. Also a much smaller number of Honda Beats, which I think I like the look of more. Anyone got any experience of those?

For my money I'd have one of these two over a Smart Roadster.
